About Debbie...

Debbie's love of dogs, particularly Golden Retrievers, brought her to photography.  After she bred her first litter of golden puppies -- born to Ivy -- she was inspired to photograph them as they grew up. From Ivy’s pups came Dory, then Ginny, then Woody (the fourth generation). “Living with dogs gives you an endless source of photographic opportunities, one is always doing something foolish or something sweet," she said.   They make me smile everyday.”

Later, when Debbie's grandchildren were born, Ellie, Jacob, and Thomas, it seemed only natural to photograph children as well.  “Children and dogs hold the same spirit; I think it comes across in their eyes.  When I look through the lens I can see the same kind of innocence, the same honesty.  Photographs of children with their pets can make for an especially moving image."

Natural light, which captures the spirit of kids and dogs, and the special bond they share, defines Debbie’s style.

Debbie lives in Topsfield, Massachusetts with her three Golden Retriever’s, Dory, Ginny, and Woody.
